Are Gayatri mantra and Maha Mrityunjaya Beej Mantra compatible?

I was asking this because what I've read about the "physical effects" that I can feel when chanting this mantras are true. The Gayatri mantra when chanting it I could really feel the cooling and soothing effect on my mind and body, (I was wondering that is also a salutation to the sun but why it feels cool?) ...while the Maha Mrityunjaya Beej Mantra (Om Haum Jum Sah) I could feel an stimulating and heating or warming effect on my body.

Is it really okay to chant these two mantras on different times of the day daily. Like Gayatri mantra on the morning and Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra on the evening before sleep. I was then thinking of a yin/yang effect to balance the energy of the two.

And also, one website suggested that before chanting any mantra we have to chant first the Kleem mantra several times while visualizing a red flame in our third eye to enhance the power of other mantras. How's your thought on that?

Sometimes I do a mantric remedy/sadhana practice that involves:

11 Gayatri mantras
11 Maha Mrityunyaya mantra
11 Durga mantra's
(morning and evening).

I have found that this practice gives a light grounded feeling that
is very nice.

Namaste

I learned the Mahamritunjaya Mantram without the Gayatri Beej and didn't even know it had one, until about a year ago when I heard an hour chant incorporating it.

I was like "whoa, so this is new (for me)" and of course, I was aware of the full Gayatri Mantra (as per Rig Veda) and the attempt to give every other Hindu Deity their own 'Gayatri Mantra'....as per Rudra Gayatri "Om Tatpurushaya Vidmahi, Mahadevaaya Dhimahi...Tannoh Rudrah Prachodayat".

So, when I heard Mahamrityunjaya Mantra incorporating the ""Om Haum Jum Saha, Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha" and then reverse order after the Mahamritunjaya Mantra is chanted; "Swaha Bhuvah Bhur Om, Saha Jum Haum Om" I was like; "that sounds awesome".

It gives 'added value' to the Mahamritunjaya Mantra without detracting from the vibration, purpose and meaning of it.

It doesn't really matter if the Gayatri Beej is chanted in relation to the actual mantra though...it makes no difference overall, but provides a nice 'finishing touch' to it. This is what I personally found.

Om Namah Shivay
