Color Tiny sketch of a bear

I'm having fun learning how to get the most out of my new Derwent Inktense watercolour pencils.

Color Peacock

Thinking of all those turkeys out there (Canadian Thanksgiving weekend)...

This is a little 6"x6" from my sketchbook playing with my new Inktense pencils. It's a challenge because I can't erase with these...so it's a way of working with going with the flow and letting go control..."mistakes" are friends...

Now you're teasing, what about his tail, no rush... His head alone is beautiful and detailed. I love peacocks. I thought if I'd ever had enough land to have one it would be great.

Thanks Josephine. Well this one's a portrait so no body. Anyway I don't think I have the patience to do all those fancy feathers.

In my fantasy world I would have peacocks running around free range on my estate and some swans in a pond LOL. And maybe a couple of flamingos. Wonder if they would all get along?

Oh yes, definitely swans and flamingos too. I'm sure they'd get along, the whole thing would be a peaceful fantasy, no bird fighting in it
