Waking Life - the part about Philip K **** in this scene is what **** himself has related as what truly happened to him.
The Rotoscoping (if that isthe correct term) format of the film was introduced in this movie by Linklater, as far as i am aware of. It is of a higher quality in 'A Scanner Darkly'. I've seen a commercial use it once as well. It is where they film a scene with actual people/environment, then superimpose matching animations overtop of it, and combine the two. Very innovative maneuvers. Well done Richard Linklater.
