Haha Miss Hepburn! Now we know who caused the slow-down. That doggy was willing to do anything for chow-time! So a little telekinesis was required (while looking as if butter wouldn't melt....etc)! LOL

No one has mentioned it, cos it's almost impossible to get to the forums, let alone post something.

It's on and off for me but mostly, on a second or third try, I can access the forum - even surf and post. Thanks forum administrators and moderators!

It reminds me of the old 56K dial up modems taking forever for a page to load, sort of. You could go to the bathroom and shave by the time the page loaded.

Can't they roll back to the previous version until they get their problems sorted out?
I'm keeping a 5-bar gate count and on average so far it takes 9 refreshes to get here. And I've no real hope I'll be able to post this, first try.

This website has proven to be unreliable for more than a year, as far as I can remember. Perhaps it's time to find a new host.
Never have I encountered a site that has problems so frequently!

Oh Lort...I do not miss those days of dial-up ;P
@ Astro - Perhaps a forum upgrade might help with these sluggish issues? I'm not sure what version of vBulletin this forum uses, but I remember having similar issues on another forum I was a part of...the Admins eventually upgraded to vBulletin version 4 and that helped solve so many issues with the forum....perhaps this may be something for the Admins here at SF to consider? Just a thought... :)

I can only access the forum on my home computer. I can't access it at all on my cell phone or other devices... |

Experiencing the same, but always got the error when trying to log in,
refreshing just put me back on main page as guest so i couldn't
post.

Hello
Trust me I feel your frustrations. I have been dealing with trying to get this sorted out. Its not good for anyone. I have E Mailed our Tech and for now that is all I too can do is wait for reply.
Yes a new Host would be nice but it comes down to $$$$ to run things. We are looking into that aspect now as well. So we have to consider that one as well.
