if the love you have wasnt really attracted to you ever just kind of grew to love you, this type of relation ship wont last right

It depends James. I’ve been with guys who have been really attracted to me from day 1 and then not been into me after a while. And kind of the Opposite has happened. Maybe some liked the chase and got bored and some were just attachment. When you’re so attracted to someone physically at the beginning, it can blind you from their other qualities, ie lust can come on strong. It can lead to attachment in a negative way. But real loving relationships are behind that. It’s love in sickness and health.
I think the key is to play it cool so that attachment doesn’t come into play, and then you’ll be able to allow love to develop if it’s meant to in time.
You need to date to know and experience it. You don’t know unless you try. |

What love are you talking about that one may have?
"...wasn't really attracted to you ever..."
So you are speaking about a love which you had but the other did not?
"...just kind of grew to love you..."
So, now they love you?
"...this type of relationship won't last."
So it is more important they love you in the beginning as opposed to the end?
You see, this is all nonsense. If someone loves you they love you, if they do not love you, they do not love you. That is all there is to it, no need to delude yourself and get lost in dramas.

I get a feeling that this could've been posted in the "Poetry" forum ...
Anyway, there are all sorts of "love". And, love doesn't equal happiness. I believe that we should strive (even better: allow into our lives) for happiness, and there are sorts of love that fit this better than others. Friendship, respect, kindness, understanding yield a more desirable and lasting love than infatuation.
