Lucid Dream
I had an experience with lucid dreaming last night that was kind of remarkable.
In the middle of my dream I became aware that I was dreaming and I remember thinking in my dream "Oh, this must be a dream." I came to that conclusion because during that part of my dream it was bright as day out but I looked at my phone and the time showed that it was the middle of the night (Dreams don't always make sense). But this clicked with me. Anyways, I remember taking control of what I was doing and thinking "This a dream, I can do whatever I want!" And I remember totally feeling like I was in control of what I was doing for awhile... But shortly after that I think I woke up from my sleep. It was kind of weird because before I went to bed that night I was reading about how to lucid dream and was attempting to do it.
I don't really know how I came about lucid dreaming, I think it just sort of clicked with me and I was in a really deep sleep. I've been dreaming of very bizarre things lately. It's pretty neat.

I think you were being helped.. as you read, the spiritual Beings was showing you what it is and how to wake up in the dream. So during the day, you need to be aware in each moment. Whenever you see something strange, ask "Am I in a dream?" then gently pull one of your finger. If your finger stretched, then it's a sign that you're in the astral. The more you're aware, more lucid and vivid the dreams will be.

Sounds like you DO know. Yes, its really that simple and easy.
With more practice you can become lucid in most dreams. There is a 'feeling' or character to dreams quite distinct to other states of consciousness. Once you figure out how that 'feels' to you, any dream can become a lucid dream.
FYI, deep sleep is not required, you can become lucid during any type of dream, even day dreaming.
