My guides are hard to reach

Sometimes I receive positive and reinforcing thoughts that usually refer to me in the third person. I haven't received any recently, but when I was I was sure they were coming from my Mom and not my guides. When I meditate for a long while and ask for them to speak to me, sometimes I will hear a voice say "I've got to go" then nothing else.

Sometimes I will go into a busy chat room and ask my guides to speak to me through the chat (I don't type anything in the chat, I just ask in my head) Most of the time I will see "Hi Nick" right after I ask them to say hello. Sometimes I even get "Stop moaning its annoying"
But besides simple messages like that I haven't received anything of substance. I know they are there, and im at a time in life where I need guidance and teaching. I really wish I could communicate with them better

I would encourage those forms of 'imaginary conversation' like what you use in the chat room.

The issue with most guys, who have not refined their masculine intuition, is that they do not know how to sense what is being communicated to them.

The gals are much better at picking up on energies and emotion. They have highly evolved intuitive sensing. So where does that leave a guy who wants to be equally adept in matters of intuitive knowing.

My understanding is that heart centerd reflection and imagination is their best path to that particular skill.

Now in your case you say "I was sure they were coming from my Mom and not my guides". In my mind, that is good intuitive sensing.

The issue here, as I see it, is that you do not trust your own intuition as much as you could so you do not use it, refine it, and depend on it.

Hello

We forget what the word "guide" means, it is guidance and at times we want too much from our Guides and they will pull from us so that we do the work. So that we learn to trust in the messages given and trust in our "intuition" or gut feelings. Guides are there to guide us along our path to give us insights into what path we might look at but we do the work.

When you say the message felt like it was from your Mom (I assume she is in Spirit) and this is a different level of communications that we can have. This is where you have to fully trust in your intuition and acceptance that we do live on when we pass from the physical.

Is there something your looking for in a path or question ? There are many good "Psychic Readers" here on site that can help.

Technically, your mother is a guide just like a great grabdparent, or a long ago ancestor who looks after you. It's not abnormal to feel your mother there guiding you. It was her job in life to do so, so why not in death? Not all guides are angelic beings as most wI'll tell you. It's a mixed bag of people.
