But then I am one who likes to sit out on the porch and watch the thunderstorms role by on a summer night.
I expect I would be a fan of that ever interesting Irish sky as well.

The song " The Times they are a Changing " came to mind ... its a good song. But i fear people should perhaps should try to come to terms with and overcome Covid 19 first before they start to tackle institutional racism which is 100s of years old unfortunately. Anyway I hope the USA can find a way through its problems at the present time. We don't get as much thunder here i certainly miss a decent thunderstorm.

Thanks, I liked that, the story was good too.
I have an 'Irish' collection that I dig out every spring when the mood comes over me. Much if it is from the soundtrack from the PBS series "The Irish In America: Long Journey Home". It's a good documentary, one of those that helps put ones present day woes into perspective, perhaps I should go watch it again.
You might know these? They are not from the soundtrack, just some good folk tunes I like.

P.S. I always get a chuckle thinking about how the sea monster takes pity on him and gives him a lift and some advice. Not to mention the line about how its better to suffer in marriage...... .

Do Irish pubs actually have celtic bands playing live in the evenings such as in every Irish movie I have ever seen lol ? (I mean B.C of course, before covid)
See, I have been a violin player for quite some time and recently started learning to learn a celtic repetoire to have up my belt. I am by no means anywhere near as good as the professionals but it is alot of fun. I really enjoyed pretending to play along in a celtic group last year before I moved out of the capital city
I possibly have an over-romanticised and inacurate view of the pub music scene in Ireland ?!!!

Wowww thats a really great song, at last a song/music with a bit of soul, very nice indeed here's a hug back at ya
Imagine it was all made up lol hahaha ..Slightly romantised here and there but there are loads of traditional musicians here still playing sessions in pubs.
Look at this guy who starts dancing around 2.40 ..Seems a bit stereotypical, he would have to have red hair of course but this sh it happens in Ireland alot !
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqYQLR-5xMg
Fleadh Ceols are also good. So there is a fleadh ceol every year in a different part of Ireland. Fleadh means festival in Irish and Ceol means song or music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmdM1xRolrk
And a nice little tune to put the wind back in your sails if needs be !!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoiB1-Ubn2I
Anyway it's hard to know what to say about the Irish and their music the celts and the druids ..its not made up lol. And also Irish lives matter hahaha sorry i had to say that as im going to try and get those folks to march across northern ireland but its a bit late !!! lol ..Peace ! social justice me hole !! what i mean is there are answers but they are hard and deep and i suspect some of the stuff going on is superficial and cheap ..not all of it of course !!! Slainte .
