Telling someone that you think that they are making a 'poor' choice is
not disrespecting them, any more than telling someone to 'watch out' for 'ditches' that they might nor presently 'see'
as being 'ditches' is 'disrespectful'.
Pooh-poohing such 'served' up 'information' as (just?) being a function of 'conditioning' (instead of considering and engaging in evaluating is possible 'merits') is 'blindly' dismissive,
IMO.
Kids may 'wish' to ride on someone's coat-tails just to go wherever such somone may be going instead of taking full responsibility for personally piecing together the best way for
them to personally grow 'up'. That doesn't mean that 'parents' should
simply 'honor' such choice.
Maybe it the fact that I have 'transcended' 'conditioning' that results in my seeing what you don't see, Iamit. Check out and evaluate my previously shared 'argument' in the above regard at

do come back with whether you agree or disagree with it and why, that is
if you truly 'respect'
my capacity for
unbiased logic enough to truly engage in 'open' conversation
with me.
