Talking Lost a stone in 5 weeks : )

Hi I have been wanting to lose weight since I put on 4 stone when I quit smoking

I am at that age when the weight doesn't just fall off if you just eat lettuce for a week !!

Basically I am doing Ann Louise Gittleman s Fast Track Detox Diet combined with the Fat Flush Plan .

The Detox diet involves eliminating :sugar, caffeine, wheat, fat, dairy and alcohol for a week - plus eating liver healing and colon caring foods - then one
day only drinking cranberry juice(a special spice blend) then 3 days of the same as before the fast day.

The Fat Flush is 30 mins (5 days a week) on a mini-trampoline for 2 weeks
and then builds up to more intensive workouts .

I am so impressed how much better I look and feel - so much energy

I am really enjoying discovering new healthy meals and snacks - and I am even being good on the rest days

Sounds great GSR - does the diet assist for when you have reached your goal weight to help you continue to eat healthly and keep the excess weight off?

Thanks Spiritlite

Hi Ces I think the thing that is different about a Detox diet is that the fat you

lose is from all the toxins your body has been storing - so as long as you don't

take in loads of toxins you should keep the weight off I have changed to all

organic products : laundry powder, shampoo, toothpaste everything that can

create a toxic reaction in my body , so that my liver can do its job without

getting overloaded

Thanks for the reply. So does that mean you stay on this detox diet forever?

No ! once you have reached your target weight you can reintroduce any food you want - but apparently after doing this diet for a while you start not wanting the bad foods - the same as if you bought an expensive sports car you wouldn't put cheap petrol/gas in it !!
