i would definitely be either a bird (especially a bird of prey) or an animal in the ocean (especially a dolphin/porpoise or maybe a manta ray). because those animals have a lot of significance for me, especially turkey vultures and hawks. and also i could either fly or swim really well :) it would be cool to be a coyote/wolf or horse also.

My son can talk to guides easier than me. Here's what the guide says through him:

"It's possible that people CAN reincarnate as animals but many people choose not to because 1) animals can get killed more often than humans. 2) many animals get treated badly 3) if an animal gets hurt sometimes there's no one there to help them 4) they can end up homeless and starve to death.
Their "hell" is more intense than what a human can experience."

We would like to include our thoughts:
Treat people/animals the way you would like to be treated. To the OP: If you believe that your pet is the reincarnation of your relative, we have no doubt that you already treat him with respect and part of the family. More animals should be treated that way. Keep up the great work! :-)
