I'm a licensed pilot and have been more than high enough to see the curviture of the earth for myself....it is most assuredly round!

Yea ok, you know what, your post made me think, i wonder if this flat earth theory comes from some kinda of misunderstood geometry of a picture in some ancient tomb some were.

from what i understand, visual information is strictly two-dimensional.
i see along the x and y (width and height) directions, but z (depth) is
provided through non-visual cues.
two eyes, separated by 2.5 inches, provides an illusion of depth perception.
the real reality of things may involve far more than simply 3, 4, or 5
dimensional thinking. then again, actuality might exist within a singularity.
