That is exactly what it feels like but with him moving a year ago, I don't understand why he continues to send those vibes when there is no continuing contact. That is why I get frustrated. Nothing indicates a screaming intuitive feeling is accurate. Nor can I reconcile why there would be these vibes from him when I am not encouraging them neither do we have continuing contact.

I've wondered that, too, but I don't think I do. I've never had romantic feelings for him, just a deep connection on some plane I have yet to figure out.

Here's some practical advices that really work if you are persistent in doing them...Like someone mentioned, chord cutting. Again and again, until you don't feel the need. Don't just cut chords, clean and heal those places and remove the hooks from the chords and give them back to that person. Visualise all this with love and light. You can always ask for angles for help if you believe in them. Praying or making affirmation can't hurt too. Shielding your aura helps also. All that with not focusing your thoughts on him even when you feel him, should really work eventually. Cutting all contact is the first very important thing to do in my opinion, if you truly want to be free.
Since the nature of your relationship seems warm and kind, and he doesn't seem like a psychic vampire that did these knots on you on purpose, maybe these methods are over the top and maybe you can solve all this just with honest communication with him. I got the feeling you want this to end, unless you subconsciously have some interest in him and that's way the door is partially open from him to you...
