Buddy List
Without wishing to appear thick - and probably failing - what is the buddy list, how does it work and what is it for?

Hi Patrica,
I think the buddy list is useful to keep track of your friends or members of interest easier. All it does is give you a personal list of your favorite members. Usually, a small symbol will appear next to their name when they are online to let you know they are on. Although, If they are using the 'invisible' mode you won't be able to see they are on. Also, members don't know they are being added to your list so it is more personal to you. To be honest, it really doesn't do much as a feature because the forum is an older software. You would have to contact the person directly on your mailbox or on the forum to have any kind of interaction.
Maybe another member who uses this feature can add on how it has or hasn't helped them?
