I don't mind horses crossing over, it's the horse flies I object to!

It's an interesting question.....

There are accounts of much-loved domestic pets who are found when folks pass over but I haven't heard that these pets remain with their former keepers for long.

Perhaps it's to aid the acclimatising process, to help folks feel comfortable surrounded by familiar and loved things....? My feeling is that such a situation is transient and that animals in general are not widely found in the etheric.

Beyond that there is an issue surrounding the animation of animals and the spiritual 'status' of the incarnating entity animating an animal. Whether an 'immature' soul spends time in animal form before eventually moving into the human form.

That's another discussion altogether.

Google 'The Rainbow Bridge' that'll bring a warm inner smile.

I am in agreement with Mac and what he says. I believe that the soul of an animal does eventually reach earth or at least a few of those souls "gathered up" do eventually in human form. With all of my heart I think this. That's puting it in a simplistic form because I dont know the actual mechanics of it I have to say.

Hello progg77 and welcome

I have lost much loved horses myself and firmly believe that when the bond of love is so strong, our beloved animals are always with us and will be waiting. From what I have read, I understand that animals with no link to human adoration return to their collective group soul. I hope this helps xx

First of all, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved horse. Perhaps you will be comfoted by what my friend Dannion told me. Do you know of him? His name is Dannion Brinkley and he is the author of several books, among them Saved By The Light and At Peace In The Light. He also speaks on the lecture circuit and leads tour groups to sacred sights around the world.

Dannion's story is quite interesting. He was struck by lightning
and pronounced clinically dead for nearly half an hour. During that time, he was taken to the spirit realms where he was shown a number of prophetic predictions (the vast majority of which have already come true... others of which have been averted, thankfully!) and then given a charge and a mission which he was sent back to the earth to accomplish, i.e., the creation of spiritual centers to aid and assist humankind on their spiritual path. In 1997 my late husband and I were privileged to journey to Peru with Dannion's tour group and we got to know him very well over the course of the trip. In one of our many conversations, I asked him what happens to our beloved companion animals when they die, for my husband and I had just recently lost a canine companion and were still grieving. Dannion's answer was immediate and absolute. I will never forget it! He said, "They wait for you!! They wait there in the spirit realms, renewed and young again, until it is your time to join them, and then there is a great celebration as you're re-united with them!"

My personal experience has proven this to be true. Not every animal is able to reach us or penetrate our thoughts... grief is a heavy emotion that frequently blocks those occupying the spirit realms from getting through to us!... but I did have one dog who managed to do so. She appeared to me in a dream that was a crystal clear communication, letting me know she was young and vibrant again and absolutely alright!! I was greatly comforted by this, and I feel confident in reassuring you that they DO go on, DO see us, and that the love they have for us (and ours for them!) goes on forever.

I hope that is of some help to you. Warm hugs

I lost a bunny on bonfire night. Snoopy was failing and it was the kindest (but hardest!) thing I've ever had to do. Snoopy is the first pet that I've ever lost as I never had any pets as a child, and i've took it really hard. I frequently dream of him and I actually dreamt of him last night. I do believe they will see you again and I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It's such a gap isn't it? Very hard to describe indeed.

Hugs to you x x
