A background about discovering this song ^
14 - hated high school. I wasn't a criminal type child but rebelious nonetheless and wagging/bunking some classes was a norm of any given school day.
It started raining hard on this particular day of wagging class, I knew my mate Tim would be home so me and my sister went to his house, where we knew we'd get a feed, a smoke and a cig.
We got there and Tim was ever hospitable as usual and fed us and blew us out and offered cigs, he explained how he had 'stolen' this album back from his friend who took it and wanted to play us this one specific song. I was trying to warm my feet and dry my socks (sisters socks I stole) all in one go by my mates bar heater. My sister saying 'just dont get too close or you'll burn holes in my socks!!' im like yah whatever, i wont. Next minute....smoke rises from the socks which in my blazed state i thought at first was condensation mist from the damp material. This song, reminds me of that moment and how funny I THOUGHT it was (not my sister), and evn funnier in that blazed state was seeing my sisters mega annoyed expressions as I laughed harder.

Seein these guy's all suited up on stage in NZ summer heat had me empathically feel for them. I'd have cut the pants into shorts if i were one of them. risk gettn my A thrown out of the band.
