Neither, to hard on my old joints.
I go once a day to the pool, and swim laps.
And after 25 years of not swimming, it came very easy to me.

I just got done running outdoors a couple hours ago in slushy, wet, nasty, cold faced mess. It was harsh, but we did it. Rain, shine, snow, sleet, cold, we are weathered folks here. Mid-westerners don't play..
I didn't take the windchill under consideration tho, doh. No worries, for the most part we are Eskimo proof.

Treadmill because it is easier and I can run longer. Outdoors I am tempted to break into a walk. But then I don't have great stamina so that's me:)

But fresh air is the fresh air. Treadmill on terrace :) !

I like choices lol.
Outdoors when I need it.
Treadmill when I am feeling non social or self concious or both lol... close the blinds... turn off the lights, ignore the world and go lol.
