'pop' on crown chakra

I was doing Kundalini yoga yesterday, and while I was briefly meditating between spinal exercises, I felt/heard a "pop" or "boink" like a marble had been dropped and bounced off the top of my head. I had to check if a huge spider or beetle had actually fallen from the ceiling.
Can anyone explain this?

Chakra popping open or a block removed. Something along those lines. I've felt this on my shoulders, knees, head, and feet. I've heard the pop once. It feels to me like someone gives me a firm jab w/ a finger. When it was the back of me head I initially thought someone had slapped me!

Did you feel a flow of energy from that point afterwards? I've always felt a flow of energy after this.

I didn't really notice any other sensations, but it did feel exactly like a firm tap from a finger. I was wondering if it originated from the third eye chakra and I just felt it on top of my head, or if it was something external. Just want to make sure it's not bad or dangerous. I have felt similar things happen to me, such as feeling as though someone slapped me in the head as well and agree that you can definitely feel a flow of energy afterward for sure, however it feels like a lower vibe rather then higher energy plane I used to be on! My goal now is to get back to my center source and regain balance with the knowledge that I gained thorugh my experiences. Most of this has to do with the ability to meditate and with the lower negative energy that gets harder and harder. For those that are already balanced and connected with their center source may not want to begin to manipulate thier own energy though, don't you think that can have a reverse effect? I myself wasn't trying to manipulate energy when I experienced what I did but it was intense and happened during a time when I was pretty lost. I wished I had known then the things that I know now.

They say God lives in our minds, my mind is beautiful until it is disconnected from God!
