Hi Julie,
I found "The Heart of the Witch" to be both inspirational and very informative.
At the center of every religion/practice is that choice about fear vs love. Few are able to grasp that principal. This presentation does a very nice job of bringing that truth into the light of a better understanding...
In a very artful manner.

I agee entirely. So often I have wallowed around being fearful and forgotten that some of the best works are done out of pure self confidence and a realization that you hold the power.

Can you expand on that, Norseman?
Imo, Ms Julie’s video presentations have done much to dispel some myths and highlight the beauty of witchcraft in a modern society.
During my time as a mod/administrator on a witchcraft forum and whilst browsing other communities, I’ve observed the fluffy bunny label used by some to attack those who they consider ignorant of historical facts/traditions or against teen witches who perhaps are hooked on Buffy.
I’ve witnessed some use the term solely to belittle and disempower another, including newbies, ALL Wiccans, people that hug trees, people that only wish to work with love and light, people that claim your path is what you make it, the list is endless.
I dislike the use of the expression as, imo, it only serves to cause a divide in humanity.
Though no-one’s ever said it to out loud to me – and perhaps also not to you – there’s a fluffy bunny label out there from some for those who claim faeries exist.

Hi John and Tuliana
Thanks for your comments, glad you enjoyed the videos.
I’m not Julie – she was part of an online community that is no more and many members expressed enjoyment of her interpretation of the life of a witch, wise woman or whatever the preferred name.
My thoughts on love and fear align with your own.
Years ago I would have paired hate as an opposite to love but now I consider fear is more appropriate.
I know many who do practise the dark side, and obviously there are many witches who do wish harm upon another, but for the purpose of the video she has used images and words to put white witchery and black witchery with love and fear.
Another of her videos delves deeper into this topic if you fancy a browse:
THE DARK SIDE OF THE WITCH
‘Evil can only exist out of the energy of fear, without fear there can be no jealousy, anger or hate.’ - resonates with me.

Amethyst,
Thank you for that clarification. I appreciate it.
I have my own discussion thread about this subject.

At this time in human history there is a great divide energetically. Few see this as appropriate and blessed. The process of evolution is long and artful. Yes it is artistic when you have an appreciation for dualistic natures and their purpose.
The central idea to consider is the concept of choice. We all have a choice. We can evolve from our conditioning with a shift towards love or stay in the fearfulness. Can we learn to love all the choices and those who make them. The creator god/goddess does, nature does, and so can we.
Blessings,
John
