A forum is only as good as it's members, let's try and make this board somewhere other tarot forums talk about.

No issues with creating multiple different practice threads (kind of the way things have been going anyway), I've been using the original as a "free for all" kind of question home for a while :)

What I will ask though, is that if anyone significantly copies and pastes the opening text of the original practice thread that you cite me as the original author, cheers :)

Re: Personal development, I'll have a think on some starter spreads etc.

Tarot exercises could be fun (making it newbie friendly too), it would help move eg inners away from keywords and guidebook interpretations. How about a purely intuitive thread where 'traditional' interpretations are a no-no?

I have been very busy with a new group I started and I been a little overwhelmed by it all, I did not think it would expand like it did, so I have been having a hard time juggling it all myself lately. Every time I see it advertised or discussed somewhere my head goes "WHY HAVE YOU NOT BOUGHT THIS YET?" and then I remember I was trying to save it as a reward for when I hit a financial milestone, etc. I may have to bite the bullet and get it as the year is ticking on!

I've just finished reading through the posts on this thread and I'm keen to try and inject some more life.

I've been spending some time trying to use Tarot for everyday purposes, so I'm open to anything that is a bit "different" to mix up from the usual prediction type of readings. I've also been doing some personal development work with Tarot which is quite inspiring. Nothing major (yet, hahahaha) but I'm trying to work on questions that assist me to grow as a person, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

Anyway, after a break I'm keen to dive in and get more involved.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say. I'm also keen to try to connect with animal readings and criminal profiling I've done a few short courses on forensic psychology which is dead (if you'll pardon the pun) interesting. I'm not suggesting I'm actually going to use it, but it's an interesting aspect to delve into.

I'm keen for anything that's a bit different, providing it helps me learn.

And where's all the old GAMES????

The old games kind of dropped off as nobody was posting on them, which is kind of sad.
The only ones that are still going are 'my question is.........' style threads (as I read for myself, I tend to not have a question so haven't bothered posting).
I have come to realise a lot of peeps aren't interested in the self reflection/personal growth aspect or deep discussion about the tarot in general e.g history, symbolism or artists vision. So we just gotta roll with what we got.

Hmmm. I still reckon we ought to have a go at a few, shake the place up a bit. I'll give it some thought. How about a Mystery Person game or something along those lines? Anyone interested?
