Solutions For Losing Focus And Falling Asleep

Hum a mantra every 10seconds or so to keep your mind focused:
Using a mantra like "Ommm" vibrate and hum it so it courses through the body which help keeps you present

Keep the eyes half closed
Ever notice the buddha statues with half closed eyes? Probably a tactic to help focus and stay the present moment. Keep the eyes slightly towards the middle but not too much. Remember we want to keep everything balanced. We want to get a little hazy or in a dream state but be fully conscious as in the next step.

Indulging Fully In Your Senses(Do Not Sensory Deprive):
Feel the air surrounding your body, the sounds, what you smell. Focus on the feeling and sound senses first. Don't try to "lose" time or go into some sensory deprivation but do the opposite. Instead lose time by sensory indulging presently without having an opinion during the moment. This is where inner silence comes in.
