Ziusudra, your appreciation is much appreciated. Yes, that wonderful world is closer than people yet realise.

Especially "Some day all people will be friends,

This would be the wonderful world.... like the Louis Armstrong's song.

I saw a broken heart today...
Almost falling a part
Desperately clutching on
As pieces falling to ground

I saw a broken heart today
As reaching its end
Sad and tragic
No hope of being mended

I saw a broken heart today
Already been shattered
Countless times
Riddled with helpless scars

I saw a broken heart today
Helping it to hold together
Feeling its pulsating with my hands
Trying not to let go....

I too saw a broken heart today
Broken & shattered & weeping
Inconsolable with misty eyes far away
Consciousness shrivelling & contracting

Suffering arising due to ego attachment
The aspect of clinging to the ephemeral
Trying to make permanent the transient
Stagnation in delusion denying our renewal

When this simple truth became apparent
Clear as the morning sky
The heart saw it always was & is in its element
Bubbling with bliss & joy

The journey from misery to bliss
Swift and instant upon exiting hypnotic delusion
We are as we are complete with nothing amiss
As the That awareness free of all association

I too thought I saw a broken heart today
But what seemed broken was the spell of illusion
Free now of the needless malady
The heart sings in joyous elation

I started climbing
the mountain today
Narrow passage
Lonely and deserted
Winding foot path
Next to chilly ocean
Into the thick forest
In cloudy day
Trying to reach the top
To kiss the sky
Thru the thick fog
Unable to see
What may be in front
Thinking only the pleasure
Of embracing the sky
My feet are tattered
Roads behind are now gone
Only looking forward
Placing one step at a time
Keep moving thru all
Over all obstacles
As my sky is waiting
For my final arrival

Ziusudra, your poem is very inspiring. There is profound symbolism in words you use, such as 'mountain' and 'embracing the sky'.

Thanks, I like metaphorical and symbolic expressions in writing.

Ziusudra, a week ago I was hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California (in Yosemite National Park) which is one reason why I was attracted to this poem of yours. I and my wife and American friends spent much time hiking uphill and kissing the sky.

THE BLACKNESS OF COFFEE

I
Share
Holy
Communion
In group sisterhood
And brotherhood in the drinking
Of coffee, the eating of bread, consumption of love
And light; our bodies under the pleasure dome reject the lifeless denial of touch
And physical bliss, denial born of religion
Severing its link with Love's Source.
The blackness of Space
In coffee
Is Love's
Vast
Womb.

(John Mark Nicholls, 15th September 2019)
