no, i have not ssen the blackness
when i was in training with my spirit teachers they spoke of the dark night of the soul. people fear darkness but in this case darkness is our friend. it serves to separate us from others and allows us to address what is inside of us and to start the process of growth.
they said it is like a seed that sits in the darkness of the earth as it awaits the time to grow. the darkness allows it to be alone. the darkness allows the seed not to burn out and dry out in the sun. it is a time for being alone.
perhaps that is the same thing as waiting to be born. waiting in the dark of the womb for the time to burst out and grow. it is like that when you exit the dark night of the soul. the world seems to be new. you seem to shoot out with a growth spurt.
