Arjuna inquired: Which is considered to be more perfect: those who are properly
engaged in Your devotional service, or those who worship
the impersonal Brahman, the unmanifested.

The Blessed Lord said: He whose mind is fixed on My personal form, always
engaged in worshiping Me with great and transcendental faith,
is considered by Me to be most perfect.

Ch12vs 1 and 2

But those who fully worship the unmanifested,
that which lies beyond the perception of the senses,
the all-pervading, inconceivable, fixed, and
immovable-the impersonal conception of the
Absolute Truth-by controlling the various senses and
being equally disposed to everyone, such persons,

engaged in the welfare of all, at last achieve Me.

Ch12 v 3-4

Just fix your mind upon Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead,
and engage all your intelligence in Me.
Thus you will live in Me always, without a doubt.

My dear Arjuna, O winner of wealth,
if you cannot fix your mind upon Me without deviation,
then follow the regulated principles of bhakti-yoga,
in this way you will develop a desire to attain to Me.

If you cannot practice the regulations of bhakti-yoga,
then just try to work for Me,
because by working for Me you will come to the perfect stage.

One of my favourites

Chapter 13 Verse 17

The Light of all Lights, He is said to be beyond darkness; knowledge, the knowable, the goal of knowledge, seated in the hearts of all.

Yes, Shanti.

Ch 9v18

I am the Ultimate Goal, the Upholder, the Lord, the Witness, the
Abode, the Refuge, the One Friend.
I am the Origin, the Dissolution, the Foundation, the Cosmic Storehouse,
and the Imperishable Seed.

which kind of reminded me of:

I private-messaged Imzadi some questions about his post and this is his reply to my questions:

At that point, I experience a whole new Reverence and understanding that surpasses any wisdom or philosophy that the mind can grasp. It is something beyond the mind that is only of the inner Divine Soul which is of God.

The line you quoted from the Bhagavad Gita speaks of this very eloquently, much better than I can say. :)

I have not read the Gita in its entirety
But have you read Uddhava Gita?
It sequels Baghavad Gita
And is an excellent and insightful read
Creates a nice balance with the energy of Baghavad Gita

No, but feel free to place quotes from it here...I'm ok with that.
