Accidental Awareness?

First, let me say that I have been keeping a gratitude journal, because I love writing and everything I ever read about being happier, etc. says to be grateful.
Also, I was reading a tarot spread for myself in an effort to see more clearly into the path of reaching my goals for the month, one of which is positive re-framing.
Anyway, I was doing this reading and interpreting what it was trying to tell me, when suddenly, I felt myself "step up." Literally. And in this space, things were clearer. I felt good, I felt positive. Boredom disappeared when I could get there, and I actually enjoyed things! (People always tell me, "just enjoy the moment," and I always want to ask, "how do you do that?!" ). I felt more connected to my life going on around me.
I have tried meditation on and off for a bit, and lately I just fit in a few moments here and there, or think on a quote that meant something to me that day. But my intention then was not to meditate or anything, it was just to more clearly set my intentions for the month. But there was that step. Up.
The whole point of this post is to ask: *** happened? And what can I do to keep going in that direction?! I plan on trying to meditate and reach up, even for a few moments, but are there any other thoughts? Ideas? Tips?

Thanks!

Alignment of thought, word and deed. With conscience. In easy effortlessness.

Openness & acceptance.

Flowing in the now without stagnating. Embrace-hold-release as of breath principle ... in unending renewal.

Witnessing movement of thought. Then choosing to slow it down. Without effort.

Well said, (I also don't think it was a coincidence/or accident for her.)

But her being in sync/alignment at the time and gaining awareness of said alignment of the present moment for her.

You experienced a form of chardi kala, being in a state of being carefree, positive, lighter, and accepting life as it is. Life is actually temporary so we should always be in this state.

Negative people and haters will always be around, people will try and curse you (make negative statements which are just a projection of what they actually think of themselves and what they curse themselves to be) etc, but we don’t let them get to us, we just go with the flow and continue in our beautiful stunning life path, learning priceless lessons along the way.

Eventually we develop an IDGAF attitude (I Dont Give A Fudge) when it comes to haters, their negativities and rubbish, and just focus on living and Enjoying our lives and becoming better. We humans sometimes believe that to be spiritual, we shouldn’t be happy or Super confident, strong and uncaring about the rubbish of losers, but actually we should be.

We are to become as the lotus flower, unaffected by the muddy water below us.

Um actually the point of meditation is not IDGAF - it’s to find genuine serenity and peace, to sow kindness and normalcy. You got a glimpse - many people do. Now it’s time to get to business. It ain’t happening without work.

Ha...am out of the 'cool hip loop'?
Wth is IDGAF...something to do with the Air Force?

Could I interject something? The point of meditation is different for each person according to their spot in life.
Some may need peace, yes. Some may need to sow more kindnesses, yes.
Myself...I have peace, I am kind.
I sit to commune with God Himself, directly inside...like some go to the beach to rest, to play, to forget their troubles.
I go to bask or bathe in the Sun...meditation for me is Love bathing, ...opening for His next visit,
which is always accompanied by gifts of big insights

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

And if you come across the tests, when other people may try and stop you from feeling that peace that you feel, and may try and harm you, this is where the IDGAF practice comes into play, in everyday, waking life.

Many spiritual beings and masters have experienced this. One must become strong willed, all loving and uncaring about rubbish of others and ones own negative thoughts, and all forgiving to be able to live peace in each moment.

"Step up"...reminded me when I had a broken heart from a break up... I sat and meditated....
when suddenly, my description would be...it was like I was 'air lifted straight up in a helicopter' ...
so high I could look down and I saw everything...clearly.

The entire event of this break-up became like lint I flicked from my shoulder...it became nothing.

Tips? Like any wonderful, uplifting spiritual thing...reflect on it often.
Remember these amazing gifts every single day and smile.
It's that easy. Expect more to open up to you...prepare by being still.
Ask, believe, receive.
Accidental awareness? There are no accidents...sudden, unexpected and glorious... yes.

Btw, never try to meditate.
Meditate.
