Something that helped me was when I did research on the historical origin and first usage of the word guide. The same can be done with angels.

Thank you BigJohn, my belief system has slowly been changing for the better but I wasn't expecting this weird situation to occur so created myself a big dose of sudden fear. That ususally happens when I encounter something I have no understanding of and since I didn't expect it, it scared the heebie jeebies out of me. However, I've encountered my 'inner warrior' since yesterday so I'm feeling much more positive.

Etymology is something that's ongoing with me, I'm always looking at words, never thought to look at guide or angels....will take that on board, thank you.

Whenever I've asked 'guides/angels' anything, its been complete silence. Whatever's been communicating with me won't tell me what it is. I don't think there's anything wrong in wanting to know what/who you're communicating with and I will now always 'test' it in future. I get synchronicities off the scale but that could be from any negative spirits/entities as well as guides etc couldn't it. I trust my intuition, if it feels 'off' then I need to question it.

It's a tough one lomax, none of us know 100% what's what until we've passed over. That's no disrespect to anybody that's experienced NDE's.

I assumed that's the way it would be once you reached your 'true self' what a warped/skewed imagination I have. It can be disorientating when things don't come the way you expected. It's also fascinating when you experience the truth of how things really are.

I think the idea we are all born with spirit guides is a misnomer. I think most of us don't have native spirit guides at all but through interacting with the spirit world we can make spirit friends and allies who then can act as guardians if they so desire.

Why would they not want to help? I've been dealing with 2 negative entities for 2 years now. They won't go away. They wake me up and make it difficult for me to sleep. They put thoughts in my head and make me want to die. You can't begin to imagine what it's like to hear tormenting voices all the time and there isn't nothing you can do about it. Why would guides and guardian angels allow this kind of abuse from the other side which you can't do nothing about? Does a guardian angel not guard and protect you? I've even got dead realities and they don't help me either.

Even if you find someone Kuurt can you really say you'd be able to trust the information they give you? I don't mean that they'd be lying to you, just that being honest with yourself....if you can be deceived, so can they!

I realize that, but I don't know how else to get any help. One psychic told me that she helped them cross over into the light. And yet I could still hear them - they didn't go anywhere. A shaman told me the same **. Another popular psychic medium on Youtube who can communicate with spirit guides, told me that one of the two entities I hear is my spirit guide and yet they both talk nasty to me, so she's wrong too.
