Mantra for remembering the past ?

Do you know if there are mantra to remember your past, in this life or in past lives ?

There is Mantra that is well known that I believe does well to activate all portions of your selves - and thus, then, within meditation can be greeted by those images, memories etc that you wish for.
VA YA NA MA SI

If you look it up you'll find probably 100 different interpretations of that Mantra. The universal point is that it is powerful, it's all how you use and perceive it.

That sounds very interesting, the mantra you gave is actually the reverse (without the OM) of one of the most important hindu mantra
"OM NAMA SHIVAYA". It's said the sound shiva is a special sound that is calling light.
