Words In Ice
Words In Ice
--------------
The quest of knowing ourselves
Is like peeling the layers of an onion,
Yet each time we reach the center
It is but the start of another onion...aha!
Indeed, only when the eye of the mind is perfectly closed
Does the Eye of All open
Far behind the little person,
It abides as the light of absolute and pure perceiving,
Undiffracted awareness
That never was nor will be
But only is.
Hello then, how you been there?
I'd awakened into sea,
Drifted so long in those waters of silence
That it woke myself from selfish irony.
O Hope dear, thaw your garden.
Hope is faith for what might be.
Hope comes alive by moving forward fearless
Through the wounded rush of backwards tendency.
But beneath us the time rests
Not, don't throw away.
Windy patterns create a vision
Of a world that has something to say.
If I die in you, just replace this,
I'm just a message anyway.
So soon the future opens up to swallow
With starving hunger the changes we make today.
Brocéliande.
She lay a flower,
He sang a tune,
The mourners mourned at Merlin's tomb,
Then through the gloom...
Then through the gloom...
