Oh, I never heard of Marshall G.
Glad you mentioned the Ananda group...nice people.
What does eg before a name mean?

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Hi Miss H

eg was simply an abbreviation for for example. Nothing esoteric!

Yes, the Ananda folk are nice - I was initiated into Kriya Yoga at their ashram outside Assisi in Italy back in the early 1990s. It was easier than making the journey to SRF in California.

Marshall Govindan was a disciple of Yogi Ramaiah who was supposedly a direct disciple of Babaji. He taught a very different set of kriyas to SRF, and even the kriya kundalini pranayama had significant differences. I learned this at a retreat in Northern Italy with Govindan in the mid-1990s. This was organised by Ennio Nimis who has now written his own book on Kriya Yoga about his attempts to try to synthesise all the variations of Kriya Yoga.

Peace.

Thanks for clarifying. and Thanks Miss H for asking.
Otherwise, my googlings had to be done.
Apparently it happens a lot among Tibetan Monks.
One day... (not now, of course not now, since I will be eating and drinking my ways through the journey.) ., I may go to the temple in Tibet and sit next to the monks.. to just let go and to meditate purely. Experience their journey .... maybe, just maybe later in this life journey..

Right... about the making effort.. yeah.. it kind of goes against my believe in fate and all..
I mean.... If it meant to be, I should not have to try so hard.
It should just come to me..
I work on it but I don't go upstream. I trust in my path.

Hmm.. If God is within all of us, which is our soul, I will focus on connecting to my soul.. who knows the truth.
I think... this medtation manifests our soul. The light energy being.

Kriya Yoga, not many hoops...it is the easiest to learn,
$42 for at home Lessons...
Nah.. I am not paying for it. No. I will just pirate it on Youtube (Oops, this does not go with my intention to connect with my soul.. unless my soul is the one who wants to pirate it. )

Go to a vegetarian diet, no alcohol, you know the deal.
Nah! this is not happening neither. I have to have fish at least and ... Does wine with a nice meal count as alcohol ??

Isn't that simple?...it is so simple ...most don't do it and make things complicated!

It may be too simple. And we are over thinking it. ??

Ha!
I love YouTube.
Here is the Basic Kriya Yoga Meditation Routine for Beginners.

Actually, this guy's YouTube channel has everything one needs about this meditation. He is an expert on this.
See? I did not have to pay for it.

There are many others teach this meditation on YouTube.
But his video spoke to me.. Probably because he was good looking and pleasant to look at. His voice is so ~~ soothing too.
