3 foot dark shadow over my bed-any ideas?

So, I went to bed last night.

I don't normally look up at the ceiling the way I did last night. I'm not sure what caused me to look up and towards the left corner of the ceiling.

Anyway, the shadow was dark and about 3 feet tall. It was hanging diagonally over me to my left.. It looked kind of like a sleeping bat. Its shape was that of what you would see a kid wearing a white ghost sheet over them at Halloween only this was dark, black.. No eyes. Just the shadow.

There was nothing around that could have cast this shadow in the angle it was in.

I wasn't scared. More curious.

I've seen shadow people and the hatman before, but this one was different.

About 10 minutes or so later, I looked up again out of curiosity and it was gone.

Any ideas what it could have been?

You could have dreamed it, with out knowing it. Or it could have been a paranormal entity.

I didn't dream it. I looked up when I went to bed as I was adjusting my pillow. So, I wasn't near being asleep yet.

I have no idea or hunches. I did get the feeling of it being some sort of watcher. It didn't bring fear to me, so I didn't think it was of negative energy.

It could be a guardian spirit then. If you see it again, observe it, and post your observations here. Keep a camera near too. Do Not Use the flash! Flash makes to much light contamination and may fill in the shadow.
