The question is how best to approach National & Global issues in a way that is genuinely intelligent & Civilised.

Over the past 7 years this Tory Government, with full complicity of the mainstream media / general public has committed Democide on the Physically & Mentally disabled. That to me is a very serious issue, injustice & crime. Where is the public outcry? The Nazis started by doing the same thing. The UK is in serious breech of Universal Human Rights. & there are multiple issues / areas concerning the role of the UK domestically & internationally that are under serious question. This is where some people are growing increasingly concerned about where this country is headed, in regards to a Far Right Wing Agenda.

i fully agree with the increasing emphasis on a shift away from an exclusive biomedical / drug focus in mental health / psychiatry to a far more integrated & humane approach to care & treatment. The UN is increasingly calling for a shift to the current mental health system / treatment. This (imo) is very long overdue.
