Vegan acne remedy?

At the age of 42, i still suffer with mild to moderate acne. It has blighted my life and shattered my self confidence since the age of 13. Like so many other people, i have tried numerous "remedies" and of course they have all been pathetic, with the vast majority of them doing nothing at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding vegan remedies that i may not have tried? As i am desperate to end my 29 year acne nightmare.

I have started a thread in the Vegetarian/Vegan forum because i am only looking for vegan suitable remedies.

Zinc can help too. (Do you have white flecks on your fingernails? Sign of zinc deficiency)

Hi Vince, I don't know about vegan, but just the other day, I was in my vehicle and ready to go somewhere and I put some Carmex lip balm on my lips and I had a zit on the lower left of my chin and decided to dab a bit of it on the zit. When I woke up, it was smaller so I guess the medication in it helped the zit.

Hi, have you tried a liver and colon cleanse? Check out Andres Moritz book, the liver and gallbladder book. Its not to big so you can get through it quickly. Trust me, it works!

Yes, i have tried Apple Cider Vinegar, it was earlier this year, and of course it had no effect. For the past eight weeks i have been taking a large dose of zinc, but with no effects. I did try a smaller dose of zinc in about 1999 which did help with some scars on my chest area.

I should really list the products that i have tried, but i have tried so many.

Is this the olive oil and lemon juice concoction?

I have attempted this in March 2013. I actually managed it for a day and was mighty glad when it was over, suffice to say it didn't work. Perhaps i was doing it wrong?

I'm not sure whether these items would be vegan? I am predominantly looking for internal remedies.

Did you only do it once? that can cause more harm than good. Thats the thing with it, you've you keep doing the cleanse perhaps every second month until you no longer pass stones. His book is really really good at telling you everything you need to know.

Its not a one day thing, its 4 or 5 days of taking malic acid capsules or drinking good quality apple juice, on the 5th day you do the exact same but in the evening thats when the olive oil and lemon juice happen. I put alot of lemon juice in mines and it actually tasted quite good. But you got to read the book, yoube dislodged alot of jusices from your body, its gona get better then bad again, but the more you do it, over the months your eyes and acne will clear up. Have faith :)
