Too true.

Both religions fundamental attributes are different. The focus on doing good actions, being compassionate, avoiding sin remains the same in both religions but the core gods and beliefs are totally different.

Namaste.

When I read about Jehovah being wrathful, vengeful, jealous, destroying things, killing people, raising cities and flooding the earth, I'm like "yeah, that sounds like something Shiva would do". lol

religion is one thing or another thing, God is everything, so yes, whether they know it or not, they all pray to the same god.

It is addressed a bit in Chapter 9 of the Bhagavad Gita...
22-23:

But those who worship Me with devotion, meditating on My transcendental form-
to them I carry what they lack and preserve what they have.

Whatever a man may sacrifice to other gods, O son of Kuntī,
is really meant for Me alone, but it is offered without true understanding.

..and there is more in that area....I mean, there is only The One.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru
