For me there's a little more to it than that but what he says is a good way to look at things if you haven't, or are about to, or are just getting started on doing things which would bring an understanding of this greater glory. Because in a sense before you see glory you've got to see your way there in a way that is similar to you way you might see now and that possibly through achievement so it's all good in that respect.

Because in a way it eventually becomes not about success or failing as they become pretty much just different sides of the same coin. I suppose then the glory really comes down to a willingness to just do regardless and being there within the moments.

In this way, letting success or failure just be a judgement that sits off to the side which might or might not even eventuate, the unfolding, as it were, of momentary intuitive directives and insights... is just plain glorious!

The Fox and the Sour Grapes: rather than admit his failure to reach the grapes, the fox rationalises that they are not really desirable.

What's more commendable: to never become an addict, or to recover from addiction?
