Not his name
I have been with someone for about 9 months now. It's all been a bit of magic. When he introduced himself and told me his name, I immediately thought no, that's not your name. To this day, I have a hard time calling him his first name and just stick to babe mostly.
Some days I think it's going to hit me just who he is/was to me before.

It took me a long time to be able to say my partners name out loud for some reason... I don't remember ever thinking he should have a different name - but it was at least a year before I called him by his name... 7 years later its not an issue!
