My favourite dream.

I was walking down the street and come across an injured child. I take him to his home and there’s a bunch of children painting symbols with their bodies. One of them points to the child, who is now strapped to a board above the door, and says “he’s the symbol we all want to be.” Then the child is me. The straps break and he falls to the ground screaming and falls to pieces.

Everybody is a symbol of something, we just need to figure it out. About 15 years after having this dream I’ve figured out what I symbolize, and I suppose I could see how it’s a symbol everyone would want to be. I suppose. I won’t say what it is, though, I’d prefer for my work to tell you.

I suspect you already know the interpretation.

The wounded child is yourself.
The strapped above the door reflects Christ's crucifiction, and the breaking of those straps is your liberation.

The "falling to pieces" is the break-up of the ego leading to your understanding of your own holiness.

My 2-cents.

Interesting that you are able to turn what I'd call just another common weird dream into something meaningful. Wish I was better at that as well.

That sounds about right, yeah.
