A Rainbow Cloud

I've never been one for looking for signs, but I saw the strangest thing two days ago.
My son and I were sitting in the open air area of MacDonalds.I happened to look up and saw rainbow colours in the sky.
I looked again ,then both my son and I .There was a long cloud stretching about half the sky. The sun was behind part of it,which would explian the rainbow I guess ,but the whole cloud was giving off rainbow colours. I've never seen anything like it before .We took some pics on my mobile and other folks did too when they saw what we were looking at.
The whole cloud ended up giving a wonderful light display.
What do you think of this?
What does a rainbow mean as a sign?

In the bible rainbows were a sign of Gods covenant and a symbol of hope, promise and renewal.

I believe rainbows are also associated with the Goddess Iris, though I could be wrong.

I have seen something similar, a few times. It was amazing, just a patch of rainbow in the clouds, just lovely ! The few times I saw it, it was also like a sign... not sure what it meant, it was just the timing of when I saw it that was synchronistic.

I think it means calm after the storm, relief, as it usually comes out after a rainpour :)

Thanks Ladies. I was thinking the biblical meaning too.
If it is a sign, whatever it means..it must be a good one. Right?

Yes, I am thinking it must be a good sign. Signs can mean different things to different people. Some people find feathers and see them as signs that they are on the right path, a sign from their angel or spirit guide... others see feathers as signs from a loved one letting them know they are with them, even though they are no longer physically here. Either way, a sign is a comforting thing ! Be open to receiving them and you will notice many more coming your way.

i saw this too for the first time last year ive never seen that ever before but it was pretty.
