You are correct, of course....but there is a big 'however'.

Yes, God is unknowable with this mind...and that would be why we must go to
the next level...to spirit, to intuition, to an expanded awareness
(and that is why it is said..God must be worshipped in spirit...John 4:24)

It is said we can not see God's face...yet, Jacob 'saw God face to face and survivied and he named that place Peniel'
( sounds a lot like pineal, no?) Gen 32:30

God's Holy Name is 'unspeakable', unpronouncable...His Name
(that should be hallowed, remember) or Sat Nam,the True Name...was
before even the thought of a tongue or vocal chords came into the Divine Mind. It was in the very beginning, the Word.
Just as Fred is a name, it is also a word, a sound, a vibration.

But then through Jeremiah (9) he said clearly...but for those that do boast let them boast of this,
that they know and understand Me...so saith the Lord.

Oh? We CAN know the Lord, God, The Infinite One?

This may be true, who am I to say otherwise. There may well be ways to unite with what we call God. After all, this is what Jesus, Buddha and other masters are claimed to have accomplished. That said, some mystical paths claim we can never contact that which is God. What we contact is not God, but God's consciousness. This consciousness is God's mediator, which some refer to as Christ. Comparable to dreaming of meeting God: Christ conjuring up the imagination you and God are having breakfast together. But not really because God is the breakfast. And the dream. And Christ. And you.
