Each day for six years I look out upon an ocean of oak trees, I notice this year the mistletoe is dead. Mistletoe is a like a fungus or parasite to trees, I decided I would walk through the forest to see if any other trees had mistletoe.

i love trees but they are also very powerful, weren't trees worshipped by some? Druids??

Not exactly worshipped, but some trees are sacred, such as an Oak.
I wish I could live at a place that had trees. My parents house had bushes, and my new home doesn't have any.
