I am at my wits end

My daughter has a destructive view towards food.

As an infant she would gorge on breast milk vomit all over me and more. At the time I went by the WHO recommendation of feeding on demand, and all that hogwash about comfort suckling. If I tried to not breastfeed like a dairy cow she did nothing but cry like she was hungry. I thought maybe she was trying to increase my milk supply like she did when I brought her home for the hospital with cluster feeding.

Now she is a teen and I know she is sneaking food and lying about it. I bought a huge bag of reisens I put them in the kitchen for everyone. I had less than a single chocolate a day, my husband had none, and my son had three. The bag had 120 pcs it was gone in less than a month. It has gotten to the point where I have to hide sweets and hand them out like I am a kindergarten teacher.

I have never been restrictive in food. I make sure to cook healthy etc.

My son and my husband are both very active with excruciating high metabolism. My son grew an inch and a half this month he needs calories he is also very judicious in his junk food same with my husband. I am at the point where I am going to have locks installed on a cabinet for each of them so they can keep their junk out of her hands. It isnt just junk though its bread and 3am sandwiches (2) etc. I have tried talking to her and she just denies it and then goes silent. We can talk about everything even the usual stuff that makes teens cringe except this and it is killing me. I dont care about her weight I care about her health. Diabetis runs in the family as does high cholesterol and all those other things and I have tried explaining all this to her.

Any ideas, advice, tips. Anyone else have this issue with a teen or been there?
Please and thank you.

Ps she is not depressed or stressed.

Have you tried a google-search?
e.g. https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C....0.o3MeGmfW0PE

Actually being overweight is unhealthy. You can't be overweight and healthy, no matter what political correctness blurts.
You should probably consult a good health professional, as you will have to deal with your child's emotional response too.

In my experience you can be so hungry that you can't control it by sheer will. The best solution I found is: eat low calorie portions (e.g 200-300 calories) every 2-3 hours; identify filling foods that pack a low calorie content in large volume; eat a little every time you're hungry, and eat only when you're hungry; drink plenty of flat, unsweetened, room temperature water.
