Synchronicities between major life events

I have been pondering about certain events that happened during our last reunion which I believe set the tone of our "separation" phase. This happened in early 2014.

I did not read too much into these at first, but as his "new" life started to unfold, I gathered these couldn't be mere "coincidences".

Our first kiss happened at a subway station/street called: "Madrid station". [I changed the name of the station for confidentiality purposes but it is named after a city. A city he later moved to.].

Then, on our last date, I took him to an American restaurant for "old times sake". He told me he hadn't set foot in an American restaurant in years. I thought it would be a good idea to take him somewhere which reminds him of his roots.

Fast forward, he moved to "Madrid" back in June 2015 to work at an American restaurant which follows the same concept as the one we went to. Before we parted ways, he told me he had no interest in leaving Paris. If he were to leave Paris, it would be to move back to the US. I was surprised to find out he moved to "Madrid" when he doesn't have any relatives or friends there. Turns out he actually moved to co-manage an American restaurant. It's the first American restaurant he's worked at, he used to work at very very fine French restaurants.

Am I crazy to think the events of 2014 were actually "indicators" of his own path upon separation?

Sadly, none of these events predicted my own path!
