Crystal Tumbling

Hello All!

Is there anyone who tumbles crystals? I have newly started in tumbling and I have to say my first batch came out rather bland and unpolished looking. I would love some advice from anyone who is more experienced in this art.

Thank you!

I am not a tumbler myself but from what I've seen you need to tumble your stones several times starting with some coarser grit and then using ever finer grit.

I'm yet to try it. How long has it taken to get to this point? I have a machine but not all of the grit.

Hey guys!

Yes, so, there are 4 different types of grits. The instructions that came with my tumbler instructed me to tumble for 7 days with the first stage of grit, 5 days for the second stage, 7 days for the third stage, and then 10 days for the last stage. While looking online there seem to be various different methods and since mine didn't come out that nice, I was wondering if any one who was experienced may know what I'm doing wrong.
