There has been history of that here so I guess I am somewhat cynical now.

My original post was meant to be helpful i.e. in case she wanted to know what other reasons there could be for the phone ring experience. I should have known better though...after all, this thread is in the section of spirituality & beliefs - woe betide any who try and introduce reason!

Hi again, everyone. Thanks for the comments. And thanks too to you, Amy Green, for your suggestion that it just might be technology. I'm "new" to this contact from the Other Side stuff!

BTW - I talked to my Mom last night, and she said she was asleep Monday night and woke up to the sound of my Dad's voice distinctly saying "Dear?" as if he was calling out to her. Monday was one of the times my phone rang and there was no answer or buzz/dial tone. So that makes it just a little more shall we say ... funky?

She's cautioned me too, though, not to read too much into it. But you gotta wonder ...!

Just to expand on my interpretation of Amy Green's caring post: I mean, that it could possibly be phone technology and not my Dad; that there is another possible explanation. I think it is good to consider all possibilities in this contact with the other side exploration!

Hey, Belle. I'll have to ask you to expand on this. I'm not familiar with that "Pike" quote you referred to.

And thanks - I'll continue to encourage my Dad's spirit with laughter and joy - I always feel joy when I look at his picture of him and my mom, and tell him I'm so glad I have had them as parents!
