i don't usually watch westerns but i got hooked on one on tv yesterday. 'broken trail' with robert duval and thomas hayden church. it was about an old rancher running a herd of horses to market. church played his nephew. along the way they save 5 young chinese girls from prostitution. it was riveting and touching.

i didn't know until the end of the movie that it was based on true people.
