First-Time Crystal 'Gridder'

I'm considering doing one soon and have gotten all the stones I need for a specific one, but what I cannot find consistent information on is how long I keep it up for. Some suggest taking it down and then doing it over again monthly. Others say to keep it up 'until it works' to just infuse it daily with your intent (and such and such) all the while.

How have others here gone about it? Has doing a crystal grid worked for you in the past?

Personally I started off with grids around the body first. I would trust your intuition when making a grid to keep up for longer periods :)

I was drawn to make one the other day (my first one).

I just worked with what I had after I purchased a couple of clear quartz. I just followed my intuition and as it turns out. . . I had a dream the following night where I entered the energy of the grid and it allowed me to release some past life timeline energy!

I set the intention of my main quartz crystal to be aligned with true heart love and in the intention of the highest good for all for myself, my connections and the environment they are in... and it works with a main pink quartz crystal. They pretty much stay outside on my outdoor table in the sun and I change them around if I feel drawn to do so.

The energy of how long the grid lasts as a cohesive Intention is based on two things that I know of (all energy circuitry fades with reprogramming caused by all energies in the surrounding area and multi-deminsionally):

1: The charge of photons in the crystals (renewable with sunlight)

2: The programming on the energy that moves between them.(Renewable by redoing the instructions/Intention or desires associate with having built it in the first place)
