Hi everyone, I had quite the experience this morning.
I'm not a frequent APr or OBEr, but I do have the experience once in a while. Usually when I'm sick or stay home from school, because I wake up and then fall back asleep.
So what happened this morning is that I woke up at 5 and then fell asleep thinking "well I'll probably end up in OBE when I fall back asleep.." and indeed I did. Actually, when I left my body, I thought I had actually woken up. It wasn't until a little into the experience that I started to realize I was out. Then suddenly, I had trouble breathing. I couldn't breathe through my nose at all, and that's when I realized I was dreaming and I had to get back to my body, or I'd suffocate. I started jumping around and snapping my fingers (
) for some reason, lol, in an attempt to return (which worked for some strange reason! why didn't I just walk back to my room? LOL
)
I then awoke in my bed and became aware of my energy body settling into my physical body, because my legs and my arms were floating above me. I forced my mouth open in sleep paralysis out of sheer will, just to breathe. My sinuses were all blocked, because I'm sick.
I find it humorous! This has happened to me before. Sometimes when I OBE my sinuses become completely blocked, and I have to consciously get out of the experience to breathe. I just thought that was something to share, if anyone else has some weird stuff like that happen in those situations, feel free to post them.
