Thoughts only produce karma.
Be careful what you think and to what intensity.
In pure light and truth.

Of course they do every thought is like an energetic broadcast into the Universe. Krishna said it best :) the Western version of this is Mark 7:15 "There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man".

Karma is no more, no less, than the consequences of one's actions.
It is nothing to fear, if one is aware of this.

Karma with words

Thoughts are vibration, so if your consciousness was developed sufficiently enough, as not to feel the pull of these spoken words, remaining neutral to any conversation and simply observe what "level" the other people are at for talking like this, then your vibration would probably remain the same.

If you participate in a negative conversation then perhaps you are harvesting an action / reaction which is in turn generating a negative vibration.

The karma could be as slight as lowering your own vibration and that may be the price you pay or something else possible?

Consider the difference of vibration from negative to kind words. Hope this link helps

karma is extremely simple overall, it ALL comes down to true and actual personal motivation, the motivation for thinking, saying, or doing anything and everything...if the motivation is a selfish one, or puts another at risk or in a state of any sort of abusive behavior, it will cause a negative repercussion in an exactingly equal amount, but if it is a generous, giving or selfless motivation, in its truest sense, it will provide no hindrance to one's way through life....i state the "good karma" factor in this way, because to do a thing for the sake of purposely earning a good karma is to do a thing seeking reward, and is therefore not at all selfless or generous in nature...it is best to never center the attention on being paid back, but having said that it is notable that a balance is also needed, as a degree of attention on what you do or say or think, is not a bad thing if it allows you to avoid a negative habit or doing a thing that might be hurtful or harmful to any other....in any case, generosity born of the aristocracy of the heart, is the way to what is generally referred to as enlightenment or saintliness, and it is a thing that any and all may be engaged in, if they so choose...it is utterly free to do so~!

Day dreams and Karma

Wow, lots of good information posted here. Thanks everyone for sharing. I"ll throw in two cents and mention from my studies that those original sages who coined the word "karma', and gave us the concept, with that word, state that in this particular epoch of time, called "Kali" thoughts or daydreams are not immediately karmic.

This is a special dispensation for us, as in earlier epochs thoughts were immediately karmic.

Nevertheless, if one meditates on any thought long enough it enters the feeling and willing stages....and one will very likely end up doing it...and THAT, will have karmic reactions!

Peace and love to all!
