bad sleep a sign that i'm on the wrong path??

Hi all, I'm new here and just started my awakening a few months ago. I had a falling out with someone at the beginning of the year and was having some very troubled sleep. I started meditating and trying to manifest and my sleep really improved. I was sleeping better than I have in years.
Last night after my bedtime meditating and manifesting I stared have some negative thought like I should cut this person out and not let them back in my life. I slept horribly tossed and turned all night and woke up feeling like I was hit by a truck. When I checked my Facebook in the morning the person in question had tagged me in a post 5 mins earlier. we haven't been communicating much lately so that is really strange. I am wondering if the bad sleep was a sign that the negative thought were the wrong path and I should keep focusing on the positive and meditating/ manifesting?

Imagine giving power to every negative thought, that would not be a way of living, right? Thoughts have power over you only if you give them this power, I too experience sometimes some "negative" things while meditating, you know, negative thoughts, but I do not focus on them, and they simply go away.

Maybe your subconscious mind tried to tell you something, think about it, or it was nothing, just some thoughts..

Many people who meditate experience negative thoughts/images while meditating :)

Why don't you ask the Universe / Higher power / God / Guide / whomever-you-believe-in what to do? Leave aside expectations, wishes, rationalizations, and when you get in a light trance ask your question.

It sounds to me like your subconscious is having trouble with this decision. At night, when the conscious mind is not preoccupied with the thoughts of the day, the subconscious will often move unfinished business up to get some logical processing time. I wouldn't take the bad sleep as a sign you are on the wrong path, just that your subconscious mind has not yet chosen a path. If your conscious mind thinks it knows what it is going to do, then the subconscious is saying "not so fast, I am not there yet," and pushing it's argument into your conscious mind when it gets a chance to interrupt.
