Is reiki permnant?

I have a question for those that practice it, does reiki healing last permnantly? or does it have to continue being done? Can it actually heal disease, anxiety permnantly? thanks

there are many factors that determine if any healing will permanetly cure someone.. there is also no promise that anything healing will do anything.

Each persons reaction to reiki is different and so some people might need more than one session. More serious issues tend to need more treatments.

Also, some people have lessons to learn from the illnesses or issues in their life and for those people reiki won't necessarily cure, but will help them overcome the issues or 'learn the lessons'.

there are many that have said that they have been cured by the energies... Does that mean everyone will be? No.

No form of healing can be certified as "permanent". Even if a condition is fully healed and the person restored to wellness, there is no assurance that person will not invite the same condition (or another!) in again, particularly if the cause of the illness is a festering or underlying mental or emotional factor.

If that is the case then they are not fully healed, aren't they?
Fully healed means the issue or illness is gone, totally, forever.
Remission is not the same as fully healed.

Some people take on illness for the qualities it will birth in them. Others take them on for the qualities it will birth in those around them. It's a matter of conscious choice at the level of the soul, and not up to us to judge. Choosing to manifest an illness... either the same one that one was healed from or another brand new one... is the right of an individual soul. A physical illness can very well be totally healed and removed from a person's body, only for he or she to call it back in because the purpose in manifesting it in the first place has not been fully accomplished.

It's not wise to judge another's Soul Plan. We have enough to do just fulfilling our own

I find that interesting in terms of a physical illness can be healed but that they call it back. Its intersting because it is difficult to imagine why someone would choose to be ill. Why they may say yes to suffering, pain, discomfort etc. Especially as when you are on the outside looking in on a situation - it is unclear as to why that choice would be made. Maybe its a lesson, teaching for someone else, something they have "signed" up for at the time of the birth. Idon't know.
thanks for posting.
