Grids? help appreciated

The other day I was jolted awake from a dream. As I opened my eyes I could see a symmetrical geometric pattern covering my vision, but not blocking it. It looked much like the collection of triangles on a Chinese checkers board. I believe they were orange in color, although I cannot specifically recall. They seemed to be in-between my eyes and the outside world, almost like the lasting effect a bright light would have on your eyes, although they did not impair vision. When I looked to my right I saw a doorway or a gate, looking construct, that was open I could see clearly through it. The doorway looked like a rectangle empty of the geometric lines and surrounded by a stronger orange color than the geometric pattern. I am hoping someone is able to enlighten me on what I witnessed, and I hope I described my experience well enough to be understood.

We can only speculate on the meaning.

You may have seen the etheric grid, the energy field which surrounds the physical. In the human body this is a grid of intersecting lines of energy, or nadis, and where these lines intersect you have energy points or chakras.

In Chinese medicine these lines of energy are called meridians, running between different points of the body. This is why inserting a needle in one part of the body has an effect on a totally different part.

On the earth these lines of energy are called ley lines, and they serve the same purpose. Where ley lines cross you get stronger points of energy, and some locations (eg Giza, Stonehenge) are the equivalent of chakras.

Perhaps you saw these grids on awakening because your consciousness was not yet fully immersed in the physical. This etheric vision would have vanished when you became fully physically conscious.

Why was it orange? It is believed that physical colours have their astral counterparts - eg red/green. So what you saw as orange may have been the counterpart for another colour. A simple experiment is to focus strongly on a bright colour for a few minutes and then look at a white wall. You should see an after-image of the same shape but a different colour.

The doorway which was empty of the geometric lines may have been symbolic of the entrance to the astral realms which lie beyond the etheric grid. Hence the stronger colour and the absence of the geometric lines. Perhaps on returning to your body you had just come through that doorway.

All this is just speculation off the top of my head. But it is one possible interpretation.
